Vegan Cottage Cheese Recipe

🛒 Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz / 400 g) firm or extra-firm tofu, drained
- 2 tbsp unsweetened plain plant-based yogurt (soy or coconut works well)
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (for cheesy flavor)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh chives or dill for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions
- Crumble the Tofu
- Use your hands or a fork to crumble the tofu into small, curd-like pieces in a mixing bowl.
- Add Flavorings
- Add plant-based yogurt, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix Well
- Stir everything together until evenly combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Chill & Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld (optional but recommended).
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
