Vegan Chocolate Snickers Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup of almond butter
  • 1/2 cup of peanuts
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, pulse the dates until they form a sticky paste.
  2. Add the almond butter, peanuts, rolled oats, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor and pulse until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the dish.
  4. Melt the vegan chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the top of the date and nut mixture, spreading it evenly.
  6. Place the dish in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
  7. Once the chocolate has hardened, remove the dish from the freezer and cut the mixture into bite-sized squares.
  8. Store the vegan chocolate Snicker sweets in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer
