Vegan Chocolate Snickers Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- 1/2 cup of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of peanuts
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of coconut oil
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a food processor, pulse the dates until they form a sticky paste.
- Add the almond butter, peanuts, rolled oats, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor and pulse until all ingredients are well combined.
- Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the dish.
- Melt the vegan chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the top of the date and nut mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Place the dish in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
- Once the chocolate has hardened, remove the dish from the freezer and cut the mixture into bite-sized squares.
- Store the vegan chocolate Snicker sweets in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer
