π Vegan Banana Split
β Ingredients (per serving):
Base:
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced lengthwise
Vegan ice cream (choose 2β3 flavors):
- Vanilla (classic base)
- Chocolate or fudge swirl
- Strawberry or berry blend
(Use store-bought or homemade non-dairy ice cream made from coconut, almond, oat, or cashew milk)
Toppings:
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- Fresh pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple
- Vegan chocolate syrup
- Crushed nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
- Coconut whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
- Maraschino cherries (check that theyβre vegan)
- Optional: vegan caramel sauce, sprinkles, shredded coconut
π©βπ³ Instructions:
- Prepare the banana
- Slice the banana in half lengthwise and place both halves in a long dish or bowl, cut side up.
- Add scoops of vegan ice cream
- Place 2β3 small scoops of your favorite vegan ice creams between the banana halves.
- Layer on the toppings
- Add sliced strawberries and pineapple.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup (and caramel if using).
- Sprinkle with crushed nuts or coconut.
- Top with whipped cream and a cherry
- Add a generous dollop of coconut whipped cream on top.
- Finish with a maraschino cherry.
- Serve immediately and enjoy before it melts!
