Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw walnut halves
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar (optional, for extra caramel crunch)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (or any neutral oil)
  • Β½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Splash of vanilla extract (optional, ΒΌ tsp)

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the walnuts, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and coconut oil to the pan.
  3. Stir constantly for about 3–5 minutes, until the syrup thickens and the walnuts are coated and glossy.
  4. Add salt, cinnamon, and vanilla (if using) in the last 30 seconds. Keep stirring to prevent burning.
  5. Once they’re well-coated and slightly sticky, remove from heat and spread them on parchment paper or a plate to cool. They’ll crisp up as they cool.
