Tried Cod in Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 2 cod fillets (fresh or thawed, about 4–6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional, for extra crisp)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Pat dry the cod with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Brush both sides with olive oil.
  4. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Press the cod fillets into the mixture to coat both sides well.
  6. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer (spray basket if needed).
  7. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Fish should be golden and flake easily with a fork.
  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.
