Strawberry Jalapeno Margarita Recipe On The Rocks

I love making margaritas. They’re perfect for all year long, and this STRAWBERRY JALAPEÑO margarita is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy… just like me!

You can wow your guests with this one or make it your own little secret; either way is fine by me. You’ve got to give it a try! This strawberry jalapeño margarita is sweet, spicy, and totally refreshing.

If you love margaritas, this tequila cocktail must be added to your regular list of recipes! I like to serve these in my favorite margarita glasses.

Ingredients

Ingredients for On the Rocks:

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Orange Liqueur Cuervo
  • ½ oz Organic Raw Agave Nectar
  • 1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice 4 large strawberries sliced
  • 1-2 Slices Fresh Jalapeño
  • Coarse Salt

Ingredients for Blended:

  • 4 oz. Tequila
  • 2 oz. Orange Liqueur Cuervo
  • 1 oz. Organic Raw Agave Nectar
  • 2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 6-8 Large Strawberries Sliced
  • 1 Slice Fresh Jalapeño Minced (Remove Seeds)
  • 3 Cups of Ice
  • Coarse Salt for Glass

Instructions

Instructions for On the Rocks:

  • Muddle the sliced strawberries, jalapeño and lime juice in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add the tequila and agave.
  • Add ice and shake.
  • Rub a wedge of lime along the rim of the glass.
  • Dip the glass onto a plate of coarse salt to coat the rim.
  • Add ice and strain the margarita from the shaker into the glass.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries, lime and a jalapeño slice,

Instructions for Frozen or Blended:

  • Rub a wedge of lime along the rim of 2 glasses.
  • Dip the glasses onto a plate of coarse salt to coat the rim.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries, lime and a jalapeño slice.
  • Add tequila, orange liqueur, orange raw agave nectar, lime juice, strawberries, and minced jalapeño to blender with ice and blend until smooth.
  • Serve in your prepared glasses.
