Ingredients
For the stir-fry:
- Boneless chicken breast or thighs (sliced) ๐
- Bell peppers (sliced) ๐ซ
- Broccoli florets ๐ฅฆ
- Carrots (julienned or sliced) ๐ฅ
- Snow peas or green beans (optional) ๐ฟ
- Onion (sliced) ๐ง
- Garlic & ginger (minced) ๐ง
- Olive oil or sesame oil ๐ซ
For the sauce:
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce or hoisin
- Honey or brown sugar
- Cornstarch (to thicken)
- Chicken broth or water
- Rice vinegar
- Red pepper flakes (optional) ๐ถ๏ธ
For serving:
- Cooked white or brown rice ๐
- Sesame seeds
- Green onions ๐ฑ
Instructions
- Cook rice and keep warm. Sear chicken in a hot pan with oil until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, stir-fry veggies until crisp-tender. Add garlic and ginger, cook briefly.
- Mix sauce ingredients and pour into the pan, stirring until it thickens. Return chicken to coat in sauce.
- Serve hot over rice, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
