Quick and Easy No-Oven Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (plus extra for greasing)

Instructions:

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar (if using).
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Pour in the milk and melted butter. Stir until just combined. The dough will be slightly sticky.
  3. Prepare Skillet: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease it lightly with butter.
  4. Cook the Bread: Drop spoonfuls of dough into the skillet, spreading them into small, thick rounds. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve: Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before serving.
