Philly Cheesesteak Casserole (yum!)
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 3 large bell peppers, seeded and sliced into strips
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz Provolone cheese, shredded or sliced
- salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the beef and cook until browned.
- Add the peppers and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the cream cheese and stir to combine.
- Add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika and salt and black pepper to taste.
- Stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with Provolone cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
