Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Balls (WW-Friendly Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds (optional for added texture and nutrition)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), cocoa powder, and protein powder. If you’re using chocolate chips and chia seeds, add them to the bowl as well.
  2. Mix Thoroughly: Stir the ingredients together until well combined. The mixture should be thick and slightly sticky. If it’s too dry, add a little more honey or peanut butter. If it’s too sticky, add a bit more oats or protein powder.
  3. Shape Balls: Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  4. Chill: Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
  5. Store: Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to a month.
