No-Yeast, No-Oven High-Protein Flatbread/Pancake

Anyone can make this. Simple, delicious, and high-protein.

Ingredients

  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 50g high-protein flour (like oat protein flour, soy flour, or high-protein pancake mix)
    If you don’t have protein flour, use 1 scoop protein powder
  • 100g hot water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50g white sugar
  • 10g extra flour (for dusting/rolling)

Optional High-Protein Add-ons

(Choose 1 or 2)

  • 1 egg (+6g protein)
  • 100g Greek yogurt (+10g protein)
  • 2 tbsp cottage cheese (+4g protein)

🥣 Instructions

1️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, combine:

  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 50g protein flour (or protein powder)
  • 50g sugar
  • pinch of salt

2️⃣ Add Hot Water

Pour in 100g hot water slowly while stirring.

3️⃣ Knead into Dough

Mix until it forms a soft dough.
Knead for 2–3 minutes.

4️⃣ Rest

Let dough rest 5 minutes (covers moisture and makes it softer).

5️⃣ Shape

Dust a surface with 10g flour.
Roll into a flat circle (like a tortilla) or divide into small portions.

6️⃣ Cook on Pan (No Oven!)

Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat.
Cook each side 1–2 minutes until golden.
