Mozzarella Mini Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 6 mozzarella cheese slices (or string cheese cut in half lengthwise)
  • 6 small lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)
  • 6 slices of deli turkey, chicken, or pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 small cucumber, julienned
  • 1 small carrot, julienned (optional if low-carb)
  • 1–2 tbsp cream cheese or mayo (for spreading)
  • Salt, pepper, and chili flakes (to taste)
  • Toothpicks (to hold wraps together)

Instructions:

  1. Soften the Cheese (if needed):
    If using cheese slices, microwave them for 10–15 seconds to make them pliable.
  2. Lay Out the Base:
    Place a slice of mozzarella on a clean surface. Spread a little cream cheese or mayo on top.
  3. Add Fillings:
    Add a lettuce leaf, a slice of turkey or pepperoni, and a few cucumber/carrot sticks.
  4. Season:
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili flakes for flavor.
  5. Roll It Up:
    Roll the mozzarella slice tightly into a mini wrap. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Chill or Serve Fresh:
    Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes for a firmer texture.

🥒 Variations:

  • Add avocado slices for creaminess.
  • Use flavored cheese slices (garlic/herb mozzarella).
  • Drizzle with a little balsamic glaze or low-carb sauce for extra flavor.
