Melt-in-your-mouth ribs

Ingredients

2 lbs pork ribs
1 cup root beer
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Season the pork ribs with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Place the seasoned ribs in the slow cooker.

3. In a bowl, mix together the root beer and barbecue sauce.

4. Pour the root beer and barbecue sauce mixture over the ribs.

5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the ribs are tender.

6. Preheat your oven’s broiler.

7. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.

8. Brush the ribs with additional barbecue sauce.

9. Broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

10. Serve hot with your choice of sides
