- 1 tsp chili paste or sriracha (optional for heat)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 head of butter lettuce or romaine lettuce, leaves separated
- Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the Turkey:
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground turkey and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon.
- Add the Vegetables:
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce (or coconut aminos), rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and chili paste (if using).
- Pour this mixture into the skillet with the turkey and vegetables.
- Stir to combine and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Spoon the turkey mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf.
- Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve:
- Serve the lettuce wraps immediately. Enjoy!
Tips:
- You can add other low-carb veggies like shredded carrots, zucchini, or water chestnuts for added crunch.
- To make it spicier, add more chili paste or sriracha.
- These wraps can be served as an appetizer or a main dish, depending on the portion size.
