Keto Tuna Cutlets

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of tuna in oil or water, drained
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Coconut oil or olive oil (for frying)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tuna Mixture:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.
    • Add the beaten egg, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  2. Shape the Cutlets:
    • Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into round or oval cutlets.
  3. Fry the Cutlets:
    • Heat a little coconut or olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
    • Place the cutlets in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
    • Serve hot with a side of keto-friendly dip or a fresh salad.
