  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional for extra heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 8-10 large lettuce leaves (e.g., Romaine, Butter, or Iceberg)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, sliced jalapeños, avocado slices

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak:
    • Season the sliced steak with salt, pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, and chili powder (if using). Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Cook the Steak:

    • Spoon the steak and cheese mixture onto the lettuce leaves.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Top with fresh cilantro and any optional toppings you like.
    • Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
