Instructions
For the Chicken:
- Prepare the Coating: In a bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the Chicken: Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat it with the almond flour mixture.
- Fry the Chicken: Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
For the Sauce:
- Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, mix chicken broth, orange zest, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), apple cider vinegar, sweetener, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil.
- Thicken the Sauce: Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes. Slowly sprinkle in xanthan gum while whisking to prevent clumping. Cook until thickened.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.

- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
