KETO NAAN BREAD

Ingredients (makes 4 naan):

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional, for flavor)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter or ghee, for brushing
  • Fresh coriander or parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Melt Cheese
    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
  2. Make Dough
    Add almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and the beaten egg. Mix well to form a soft dough. If sticky, chill for 10–15 mins.
  3. Shape the Naan
    Divide the dough into 4 balls. Place each ball between parchment paper and roll out into an oval/naan shape (about ¼ inch thick).
  4. Cook
    Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each naan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and firm.
  5. Brush & Serve
    Brush with melted butter or ghee, sprinkle with chopped herbs if desired. Serve warm!

💡 Tips:

  • Add chili flakes or cumin seeds to the dough for extra flavor.
  • Great with keto curry, butter chicken, or as a wrap!
