Instructions:
Donuts:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan well.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, powdered erythritol, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the almond milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Combine Mixtures: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until you get a smooth batter.
- Fill Donut Pan: Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean and the donuts are golden brown.
- Cool: Let the donuts cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Glaze:
- Prepare Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered erythritol, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Glaze Donuts: Once the donuts are completely cool, dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze or drizzle the glaze over the donuts. Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes.
Tips:
- You can customize the glaze by adding a bit of cocoa powder for a chocolate glaze or some cinnamon for a spiced glaze.
- Store the donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
