2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos for lower sodium)
1 tbsp olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp garlic, minced
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
1 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
Marinate the salmon – In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Coat the salmon fillets with this mixture and let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Cook the salmon – Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
Garnish & serve – Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions over the salmon. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
