keto-friendly chocolate frosty

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tbsp powdered erythritol (or your favorite keto sweetener)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base:
In a blender, combine the heavy whipping cream, unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered erythritol, vanilla extract, and xanthan gum (if using).
  2. Blend Smooth:
Add the unsweetened almond milk and ice cubes. Blend on high until smooth and frosty-like consistency forms. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more almond milk.
  3. Adjust Sweetness:
Taste and adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more sweetener if needed.
  4. Serve:
Pour the frosty into a glass or bowl and enjoy immediately with a spoon or straw.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of unsweetened peanut butter or a few drops of chocolate extract.
  • Freeze for 10-15 minutes before serving for a thicker, more authentic frosty texture.

Enjoy your low-carb, chocolatey treat!
