Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Combine Ingredients:
Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Add Cream and Cheese:
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Finish and Serve:
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over them. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
