Keto Casserole dish of sliced cabbage and broccoli

casserole dish of sliced cabbage and broccoli which has been drizzled with olive oil, seasoned with mushroom powder, garlic powder and dried minced onion (which is a mix I make and keep in a jar. Portions are guesstimated). It was baked covered with the glass lid at 380F° for 50-55 minutes.

This is a family friendly veggie dish which I often use to replace potato, rice or noodles on my dish. Then what ever protein I’ve cooked and seasoned (fish, beef, chicken, lamb, sausage, pork goes on top). 😋

This a recipe you can use as an inspirational “suggestion”. Use any low carb vegetable like cauliflower, turnips, green beans, even celery to make a filling, tasty base for a topping. Sometimes, I’ll toss in a few tomatoes.

Or any seasoning you think will pair nicely such as Greek seasoning, Italian seasoning, curry, Indian 5 spice…

Or enjoy it on its own. Sometimes I’ll add butter, or cream cheese, or shredded cheddar, or parmesan, or sour cream and ground pepper if I’m just eating this on its own.

Weigh or measure what goes on your plate and add it to your macros.

P.S. for a zing, toss a few jalapeños in.
