Keto Breakfast Buns

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional for flavor)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt mozzarella cheese and cream cheese for 1 minute. Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds until fully melted.
  3. Quickly mix in almond flour, baking powder, egg, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough (you can use your hands when it’s cool enough to touch).
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal balls. Shape them into bun-like rounds and place them on the tray.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds or seasoning if desired.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.

Slice and fill with scrambled eggs, avocado, turkey bacon, or a slice of cheese for the ultimate keto breakfast sandwich!
