Keto Bread Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a bowl for shaping the bread.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, warm water, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Combine the Mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. The dough may be slightly sticky, but it should hold together.
  5. Shape the Bread Bowl: Take a portion of the dough and form it into a round ball or the shape of your desired bread bowl. If you prefer a more traditional bowl shape, you can form it in a small, oven-safe bowl.
  6. Optional: Add Toppings: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added flavor and crunch.
  7. Bake: Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet or inside your oven-safe bowl. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread bowl turns golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. Cool and Serve: Allow the bread bowl to cool slightly before using it for your favorite soup, stew, or salad.
