- 1 bunch asparagus (about 12β16 spears)
- 6β8 slices of bacon (thin-cut works best)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- Optional: sprinkle of parmesan or red chili flakes

- Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Trim the asparagus ends (the woody part).
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Wrap 2β3 asparagus spears together with one slice of bacon (start from the bottom and spiral upward).
- Place wrapped bundles seam-side down on the tray.
- Bake for 20β25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender.
- Optional: Broil for 2-3 mins for extra crispiness!
