KETO AMISH CHICKEN

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
  3. Brown Chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Prepare Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine and Bake: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.
  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve the chicken with the creamy sauce spooned over the top. Enjoy!
