Italian sausages with green cabbage

Ingredients

5-pack sweet Italian sausages (casings removed and cut into ~1/2″ chunks.

Small head of green cabbage, roughly chopped

1 block of cream cheese

1 cup of HWC

Salt

Garlic powder

Onion flakes

Paprika

Cracked black pepper

Directions

Brown the sausage chunks on medium heat and cook through

Remove from pan but leave the collected oil and brown bits.

Add cabbage in, salt liberally, season as desired, toss so it’s evenly coated, cover, and cook it down until cabbage is desired consistency.

Break the cream cheese into chunks with your hands and place on top of the cabbage, cover back up, and let sweat/melt for a few minutes.

Mix so everything is evenly coated in cream cheese.

Add HWC and add sausage back in, mixing everything thoroughly again.

Cover and let it continue to cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve and enjoy!
