Honey Glazed Air Fryer Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or low-sodium soy sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds, chopped green onions, or fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. This will be your honey glaze marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the honey glaze marinade over the salmon.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. This allows the salmon to soak up the flavors.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  5. After marinating, remove the salmon from the bag or dish and place them in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Make sure to shake off excess marinade before placing them in the air fryer, as too much liquid can cause excess smoke in the air fryer.
  6. Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 380°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes. Cooking time can vary depending on the thickness of the salmon fillets, so keep an eye on it. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. If desired, you can baste the salmon with the remaining honey glaze marinade during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking to add extra flavor.
  8. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the air fryer, garnish with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, or fresh parsley, and serve immediately…
