Honey Glazed Air Fryer Salmon
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or low-sodium soy sauce)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional garnish: sesame seeds, chopped green onions, or fresh parsley
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. This will be your honey glaze marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the honey glaze marinade over the salmon.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. This allows the salmon to soak up the flavors.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- After marinating, remove the salmon from the bag or dish and place them in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Make sure to shake off excess marinade before placing them in the air fryer, as too much liquid can cause excess smoke in the air fryer.
- Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 380°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes. Cooking time can vary depending on the thickness of the salmon fillets, so keep an eye on it. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- If desired, you can baste the salmon with the remaining honey glaze marinade during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking to add extra flavor.
- Once the salmon is done, remove it from the air fryer, garnish with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, or fresh parsley, and serve immediately…
