Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cold butter, cubed
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 1 egg
Optional Topping
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- Extra shredded cheddar
Instructions
🥣 Step 1: Make the Dough
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter cubes and rub in with fingers until mixture looks crumbly.
- Stir in shredded cheddar.
- Mix in Greek yogurt and egg until a dough forms.
If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour (1 tbsp at a time).
🥯 Step 2: Shape the Rolls
- Divide dough into 8 equal pieces.
- Roll each into a ball and flatten slightly.
🔥 Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C / 350°F.
- Place rolls in the basket with space between them.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown.
🧈 Step 4: Finish (Optional)
- Brush with melted butter.
- Sprinkle extra cheddar on top.
- Air fry 1 more minute to melt the cheese.
