Homemade Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Pineapple

Ingredients:
- Fresh pineapple chunks or canned pineapple chunks
- Bacon slices (use thin-cut bacon for best results)
- Toothpicks or wooden skewers
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- While the air fryer is preheating, cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks. Make sure they are not too large, as you’ll be wrapping them with bacon.
- Take a bacon slice and cut it in half lengthwise. You should have two long, thin strips of bacon from one slice.
- Wrap each pineapple chunk with a half-slice of bacon, securing the ends with a toothpick or wooden skewer. Make sure the bacon is tightly wrapped around the pineapple to prevent it from unraveling during cooking.
- Place the bacon-wrapped pineapple chunks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches if your air fryer is small.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the bacon and the size of the pineapple chunks. You want the bacon to become crispy and the pineapple to caramelize slightly.
- Keep a close eye on the bacon-wrapped pineapple during the last few minutes of cooking to prevent overcooking or burning.
- Once the bacon is crispy and the pineapple is slightly caramelized, remove them from the air fryer.
- Carefully remove the toothpicks or skewers from the bacon-wrapped pineapple before serving.
- Serve your homemade air fryer bacon-wrapped pineapple as a delicious appetizer or snack. You can even drizzle them with a bit of honey or a sprinkle of brown sugar for extra sweetness, if desired.
