Home Made Pizza Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Olive oil for cooking
For the Pizza Sauce:
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Toppings:
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your favorite pizza toppings (e.g., sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Chicken:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
3. Cook the Chicken:
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the seasoned chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
4. Prepare the Pizza Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix together tomato sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to make the pizza sauce.
5. Assemble the Pizza Chicken:
- Spoon the pizza sauce over each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add your favorite pizza toppings.
6. Bake:
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Garnish and Serve:
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
- Serve the pizza chicken directly from the skillet.
