1 lb ground turkey or ground beef (you can use sausage for extra flavor)
1 cup pizza sauce (preferably sugar-free)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or any pizza topping of your choice (optional)
1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (or veggies of your choice)
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Meat: In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Season the Meat: Add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cooked meat. Stir to combine.
Assemble the Bake: In a baking dish (about 9×9 inches), spread the cooked meat evenly on the bottom. Layer it with the pizza sauce, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Add a layer of grated Parmesan cheese.
Add Toppings: Add your desired pizza toppings like pepperoni, bell peppers, black olives, or any other toppings you love.
Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve: Once it’s done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Enjoy: Serve hot, and enjoy a delicious, crustless pizza bake!
Optional Add-ins:
Add cooked mushrooms, spinach, or zucchini for extra veggies.
You can also use a mix of different cheeses like cheddar for a cheesier flavor.
