🥩 Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (93/7 or 90/10 for higher protein)
  • 1 tsp olive oil (optional if beef is very lean)
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
    (or DIY: paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional but great)
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 8 high-protein tortillas
    (or whole wheat/low-carb tortillas)

Protein Boost Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded reduced-fat cheese
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (swap for sour cream)
  • ½ cup black beans (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, avocado (optional)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Cook the beef
    Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add olive oil (if needed), onion, and cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
    Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  2. Brown & season
    Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks.
    Stir in taco seasoning, paprika, and tomato sauce.
    Simmer 5–7 minutes until juicy but not watery.
  3. Warm tortillas
    Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
  4. Assemble wraps
    Add beef mixture to each tortilla.
    Top with cheese, Greek yogurt, and any extras.
  5. Wrap & serve
    Fold burrito-style or roll into wraps.
