Main:
- 400โ500g chicken breast (thinly sliced)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 onion (sliced)
- 1 bell pepper (optional, sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, adds depth)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
- 1 tsp honey or low-cal sweetener
- Black pepper or chili flakes (to taste)
Cooking:
- 1 tbsp oil (olive or any neutral oil)
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
1. Prep sauce
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, water, and honey.
- Stir well and set aside.
2. Cook chicken
- Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken, season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Stir-fry until fully cooked and lightly golden (5โ6 minutes).
- Remove and set aside.
3. Cook vegetables
- In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and onion.
- Stir-fry for 1โ2 minutes.
- Add broccoli and a splash of water, cook 3โ4 minutes (slightly tender but still crisp).
4. Combine
- Return chicken to the pan.
- Pour in the sauce and mix well.
- Cook for 2โ3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything.
