Healing Herbal Detox Tea

Ingredients:
- 1 tsp dried ginger root (helps with digestion and inflammation)
- 1 tsp dried peppermint leaves (soothes the stomach and promotes digestion)
- 1 tsp dried chamomile flowers (relaxes and helps with sleep)
- 1 tsp dried lemon balm (calms the nerves and supports digestion)
- 1 tsp dried dandelion root (a natural detoxifier)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder (anti-inflammatory and supports liver health)
- 1-2 slices of fresh lemon (adds a refreshing flavor and vitamin C)
- Honey or stevia (optional) (for sweetness)
- 2 cups water
Instructions:
- Boil Water: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
- Prepare the Herbs: In a tea infuser or directly into the pot, add the dried herbs: ginger, peppermint, chamomile, lemon balm, dandelion root, and turmeric.
- Steep the Tea: Pour the boiling water over the herbs. Cover and let it steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.
- Strain: If you used loose herbs, strain the tea into a cup.
- Add Lemon and Sweetener: Squeeze in a slice of fresh lemon and add honey or stevia for sweetness, if desired.
- Enjoy: Sip slowly and enjoy the calming, detoxifying effects of the tea!
