π¦ For the Lobster
Ingredients
2 lobster tails
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (reduced from ΒΌ cup for better macros)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional)
π For the Scallops
Ingredients
1 lb (450g) sea scallops (patted very dry)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & pepper
Squeeze of lemon
πΉ Instructions
1οΈβ£ Prep the Lobster
Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of each shell.
Gently lift the meat over the shell (butterfly style).
2οΈβ£ Make Garlic Butter
Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
3οΈβ£ Broil Lobster
Preheat broiler (high).
Brush lobster generously with garlic butter.
Broil 8β10 minutes until opaque and slightly golden.
(Internal temp ~140β145Β°F.)
4οΈβ£ Sear the Scallops
Heat skillet over medium-high until very hot.
Add oil/butter.
Place scallops down and do not move them for 2β3 minutes.
Flip and cook another 1β2 minutes.
Add garlic during the last 30 seconds.
Finish with lemon squeeze.
