FROZEN BREADED CHICKEN BREAST IN THE AIR FRYER
Ingredients:
- Frozen breaded chicken breasts
- Cooking spray (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). This will help ensure that the chicken cooks evenly.
- Arrange the chicken: Place the frozen breaded chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray. Make sure they’re not touching each other to allow for even cooking.
- Cooking time: The cooking time can vary depending on the thickness and type of your breaded chicken, but typically, you’ll want to cook them for 18-25 minutes. Start with the lower end of the range and check for doneness as you go. If they aren’t fully cooked at 18 minutes, continue cooking in 5-minute increments until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). It’s important to use a meat thermometer to ensure they’re safe to eat.
- Flip or shake (optional): If your air fryer has a feature that allows you to flip or shake the basket during cooking, you can do so about halfway through the cooking time to help achieve even browning on both sides.
- Check for doneness: When the chicken breasts are close to being done, check their internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Make sure it reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part. Additionally, check for a crispy, golden-brown exterior.
- Serve: Once the chicken reaches the desired internal temperature and has a crispy exterior, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute or two before serving…
