Fried Ribs
Ingredients:
- 1 rack of pork ribs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Your favorite dry rub or seasoning blend
- BBQ sauce (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ribs: Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs if it’s still attached. This helps the ribs become more tender and allows the seasonings to penetrate better. Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, and your chosen dry rub or seasoning blend. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C). If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat function, just let it run for a few minutes before placing the ribs in.
- Cook the ribs: Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned ribs in the basket or on the tray, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cut the rack into smaller portions depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook the ribs at 360°F (182°C) for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the ribs and the specific air fryer model, so check for doneness periodically.
- Check for doneness: The ribs should be golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. If they’re not quite done, you can cook them for an additional 5-10 minutes, checking for doneness regularly.
- Serve: Once the ribs are cooked to your liking, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. If desired, you can brush them with BBQ sauce before serving for extra flavor.
- Enjoy: Serve your air fryer fried ribs hot with your favorite sides and enjoy!
