FRESH CUCUMBER LEMONADE

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cucumber (peeled and chopped)
  • 4-5 lemons (juiced)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the cucumber:
    Put the chopped cucumber into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain cucumber juice:
    Pour the blended cucumber through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove pulp (optional, for smoother lemonade).
  3. Add lemon juice:
    Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the cucumber juice.
  4. Sweeten:
    Stir in sugar or honey while mixing well until dissolved.
  5. Add water:
    Pour in the cold water and stir everything together.
  6. Serve:
    Add ice cubes to glasses, pour the cucumber lemonade over the ice, garnish with mint leaves if you like, and enjoy!
