This dessert is naturally sweetened, high in fiber, and low in refined carbs, making it perfect for people managing diabetes. It’s flourless and uses bananas, oats, and sugar-free chocolate for flavor and texture.


🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Banana, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if preferred)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp monk fruit or erythritol sweetener
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2–3 tbsp unsweetened sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted coconut oil

🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a small baking dish.
  2. Mash bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add wet ingredients
    Beat in eggs, vanilla, and melted oil.
  4. Mix dry ingredients
    In a separate bowl, combine oats, cocoa powder, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine
    Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
  6. Bake
    Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool & serve
    Let it cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing into squares.
