Farmers casserole

Ingredients:
– 1 can of crescent rolls
– 6 large eggs
– 1 cup of milk
– 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
– 1 cup of cooked breakfast sausage or bacon (crumbled)
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: diced bell peppers, onions, or spinach for added veggies

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them flat in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage or bacon evenly over the crescent roll crust.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage or bacon.
6. Top with shredded cheese and any optional veggies you like.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Tip: You can prepare this casserole the night before! Just cover it and place it in the fridge. In the morning, bake it right away without needing to let it sit out. Enjoy!
