Easy Whole Wheat Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1–2 tbsp milk (if dough is too dry)
Instructions
- Preheat oven
- Set oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar
- In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.
- Add vanilla
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Add dry ingredients
- Stir in whole wheat flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Add a little milk if the dough feels too dry.
- Shape cookies
- Roll small balls and flatten slightly with a fork or your palm.
- Bake
- Bake 10–12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool
- Let cookies cool on a rack before serving.
