🧾 Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsweetened plant milk
- 2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
- Coarse salt, for topping
For the baking soda bath
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp baking soda
🥣 Instructions
- Preheat & prep
Preheat oven to 425°F / 220°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment. - Make the dough
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in plant milk and melted vegan butter until a soft dough forms. - Shape
Divide dough into 4 pieces. Roll each into a rope and cut into bite-size pieces. - Baking soda bath
Bring water to a boil, add baking soda.
Drop pretzel bites in for 30 seconds, then remove and drain. - Bake
Place on baking sheet, sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown. - Finish
Brush with a little extra melted vegan butter if you’re feeling indulgent 😌
