Easy Slow Cooker Cracker Barrel Fried Apples
Ingredients:
6 large tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ cup butter, cut into small pieces
Directions:
Prepare the Apples:
Place the peeled, cored, and sliced apples in the slow cooker.
Mix Sugars and Spices:
In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples in the slow cooker, tossing to coat the apple slices evenly.
Add Butter:
Distribute the small pieces of butter evenly over the top of the apples.
Cook:
