Easy Marinated Cheese Appetizer with Salami & Pickle

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or mozzarella), cut into cubes
  • 4 oz salami, cut into small pieces or cubes
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (like parsley, dill, or chives), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, herbs, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the cheese, salami, and pickles to the bowl with the marinade. Gently toss until all pieces are coated.
  3. Marinate: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Serve: Serve on a platter with toothpicks for easy snacking or on skewers for a fun presentation.
