Easy Egg Recipe for Breakfast
Ingredients:
500 grams of potatoes (about 500 grams)
1 onion
100 grams of hard cheese
1 tomato
2 tablespoons of flour
1 egg
Green onions
Herbs of Provence
Salt and pepper, to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Prepare the Potatoes:
Peel and grate the potatoes using a grater. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
Chop the Onion and Cheese:
Finely chop the onion and grate the hard cheese. Cut the tomato into small pieces.
Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, chopped onion, grated cheese, diced tomato, flour, egg, chopped green onions, and herbes de Provence. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
Form Crepes:
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Take a spoonful of potato mixture and shape it into a crepe. Carefully drop it into the hot oil. Repeat with remaining mixture, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry Until Golden Brown:
Cook potato crepes for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Use a spatula to flip them halfway through cooking.
Serve Warm:
Once cooked, remove the potato pancakes from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve them warm, garnished with additional chopped green onions if desired.
Enjoy your delicious potato pancakes for a delicious breakfast!
