Earthquake Cake

– 1 box of German chocolate cake mix

– 2/3 cup chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup chopped pecans
– 1/2 cup butter
– 2/3 cup shredded coconut
– 8 oz cream cheese
– 3 and 3/4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Prepare your chocolate cake mix in a bowl as per box instructions with oil, eggs, and water.
3. Grease the casserole dish with butter. Sprinkle coconut, pecans, and chocolates at bottom of pan.
4. Pour the cake mix in the casserole dish.
5. Melt butter and cream cheese in pan. Beat in powdered sugar until its smooth.
6. Spread this over casserole and create swirling motion with knife.
7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the cake passes toothpick test (i.e. you can poke into cake and toothpick comes out clean.)
8. Remove the cake from oven and let it cool down for 10 minutes.
