Ingredients

  • 2 fillets white fish (such as Cod or Tilapia)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1–2 red chilies, sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Optional: sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare fish
    Place the fish fillets on a heat-safe plate.
  2. Make the sauce
    Mix garlic, ginger, lime juice, soy sauce, olive oil, and chilies.
  3. Pour sauce
    Spoon the mixture over the fish.
  4. Steam
    Steam for 8–10 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
  5. Garnish
    Sprinkle cilantro and green onions before serving.
